Asklipiou 80 is in the urban core of Athens in the vibrant neighborhood of Neapoli, Exarcheia. The building was initially built for industrial use, it was a printshop.

It has since been bought by Diamona Greece (“DG”) and has been repurposed for residential use, incorporating previous elements of the building into a modern design.

GREECE

A HEADY MIX OF HAUNTING RUINS, AWE-INSPIRING ART AND VIBRANT STREET LIFE, GREECE’S HOT-BLOODED CAPITAL IS ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST CHARISMATIC CITIES. WITH ITS BLEND OF MODERNITY AND ANTIQUITY, ATHENS’ CITYSCAPE IS AN EXHILARATING SIGHT.

Athens, a city with a history that spans nearly the entirety of recorded humanity. A walk around Athens transports you back 6,000 years, giving you the impression of travelling with a “time-machine”. With a plethora of neoclassical houses or modern buildings, there are many wonders you should venture to see. You will encounter ancient monuments, such as Akropolis, along with contemporary art and culture. The result is a city awash with priceless treasures.

Idling around picturesque streets, whiling away hours at streetside cafes, people ‑watching on traditional tavernas or enjoying an impromptu Rempetiko night — these are all central to the Athenian experience.  A sunset seen from the Areopagus Rock, or a haunting tune played by a street musician on his accordion on a lazy Sunday morning are classic images of a stroll over Monastiraki square.

Yet, Athens is an attractive modern metropolis with unrivalled charm. A slew of new openings and numerous urban renewal projects all show that Athens is definitely getting its mojo back.

Parts of the center that were run-down have come into the spotlight thanks to interventions by the city’s creative forces. A characteristic example of such urban renewal is the Athens Trigono, a downtown area that was once exclusively a center of commercial activity; now being largely renovated, pedestrianized and relaunched.

The regeneration of Faliro Bay and the construction of a new coastal road are underway, and projects such as the modernization of the Alimos Marina, and the massive urban renewal project at Elliniko, the city’s old airport, are being planned along the Athens Riviera.

Athens, with its current flaws, will find ways to surprise you. It’s not just about aesthetics anymore, it’s about inspiration, too, and the concept that it serves.
