The newly renovated, high energy efficient building of 7 stories, faces two streets and forms an interior courtyard, which provides natural light to all apartments. New metal terraces were added on both facades to the apartments. All terrace apartments have large sunny verandas with the large sliding doors to create a comfortable living experience. The main entrance to the building is located on Tilemachou str. and is well defined and accessible to all. The building on the fourth floor starts to setback, creating larger verandas for the upper-level apartments. The interior courtyard with the twelve-meter mural provides a fresh aesthetic approach. The whole courtyard is divided with climber plants on trellises that define each apartment’s veranda on that floor.
The building has 26 fully furnished apartments that follow a modern aesthetic design. Apartments come with a fully ergonomic kitchen, comfortable furniture aluminum thermal insulated sliding windows and balcony doors. The building offers common areas that can be accessed by all tenants, either the common roof top verandas with sitting and plants for relaxing stay or the lounge room with music, tv, comfortable sitting and games.
As you enter the long lobby of the building with its mirrored wall, oak floating bench and gymnastic themed hallway, you are guided towards the basement of the building. There you are greeted with two areas, the laundry room, and the lounge. The laundry is equipped with washers and dryers with a large glass panel that peaks into the lounge area. The lounge has a designated coffee station with refreshments, sofas, and armchairs, which create multiple sitting areas for the tenants. Half of the walls of the lounge is finished with natural wood paneling as is the ceiling, creating a contrast with the rest of the walls that are painted in a dark green hue. Provided in the lounge is an assortment of board games, video game console and a pool table in the center of the room. On the two roof top common terraces of the building there are pots with Mediterranean plants and herbs encompassing relaxing armchairs with the whole area covered in net shading for the use of the tenants on the cool nights looking over the roof tops of Athens.
